Happy Ostara everyone!
What a wonderful start to the season of spring. My two friends and I had a great time creating our sacred offering, adorning ourselves with crowns of ivy, trying to light candles outside in the rain, and throwing cattail seeds to the wind! There was much giggling. Our triumph of the evening was seeing our raft-style offering (made of rosewood and ivy) actually did float, and then drift across the lake where it suddenly disappeared. I like to think of this as a sign that our gift was received, rather than an error in structural integrity!
